for his resort 2011 collection, cacharel designer cédric charlier turned his personal floral photography into the lavish prints seen, such as above. he’s working to rebuild an old french brand, thus had to dip into the seventies archives, as most owners insist the creative types do, in order to reinvent something for today.
there were simplier items, as well as all-over prints, which may seem a little garish, but are guaranteed to be hot come next year, as we’ve seen them at a number of houses. isn’t it interesting how much power these people have? we’ll give them our souls if they ask…or wear sweatpants to an evening event.
